Eazy Lap was formed back in 2021 out of necessity by a small family run cylinder head machine shop in the rural countryside of Surrey, South East England.
We had previously used another type of water based diamond valve lapping paste that was purchased regularly from local engineering shop until its unfortunate closure. Luckily we kept a good stock for our own use and to resell but as stocks started getting low and no viable alternative was available it was decided to invest and create our own diamond valve lapping paste.
Fast forward two years later – After extensive testing by ourselves in the machine shop on our own cylinder heads plus giving out samples to local garages and mechanics to test. From all the feedback we gathered we were able to tweaking the mixture. We are now happy to sell the final product.
Having picked up a lot of regular customers from the engineering shop that produced it originally, most say the new water based diamond valve lapping paste is quicker and gives a better finish than the original. We have also expanded the range to include a smaller pot for the DIY mechanic or enthusiast not just a large trade pot for mechanics, garages or engine rebuild specialists.
We have also added a small selection of other high quality products to the online shop that we use regularly in the machine shop.
